WHEN SHOULD YOU SCREEN FOR BOWEL CANCER?
Annual bowel cancer screening is recommended for both men and women:• Aged 50 and over • With no symptoms • With no personal or family history of bowel cancer or polyps.The aim of screening is to find any polyps or to find cancer early when it is easier to treat successfully. If you’re currently experiencing symptoms that concern you or have a personal/family history of bowel cancer or polyps please speak to your GP first.
The BowelScreen Australia test and its unique blue brush method makes it easier than ever to screen for bowel cancer!* Requires NO faecal handling* NO medication or diet changes* Is significantly more accurate in detecting the early signs of bowel cancer (invisible blood in the bowel motion) compared to other bowel screening tests.
Early detection provides the best chance of successful treatment.
