The Neon Nits lice egg locator spray is very rich in the fluorescent color, plus, it is formulated to be very quick drying. It leaves nits colored with a fluorescent dye formula that is uniquely patented for this purpose. To color the nits and not the hair, the spray dries as it hits the nits and the surrounding hair. Because of the unique polymer structure of the nit surface, the color quickly adheres to the nits, but does not strongly adhere to the hair. As a result, most of the color can be brushed out of the hair but stays on the nits.*Use before treatment to make lice eggs bright pink, a high visibility color for nits!Due to its ease of use, Neon Nits is the most effective product in the aid of the mechanical removal of lice eggs. Neon Nits completely eliminates the need for awkward illumination and magnification devices!*Use after treatment and egg removal to make sure nits are all gone!Neon Nits spray can also be used with chemical removers to confirm whether all nits have been eliminated! If used after permethrin application, this product may also reduce permethrin residue. If you use Neon Nits after any oil based treatment product, all oil must be removed prior to using Neon Nits. Oil coats the nits and does not allow Neon Nits to stick to the nits.Is It Easy to Use?*Neon Nits spray is easy to use! Just shake well, and follow the directions below! One note, do not attempt to use on recently dyed, permed, or treated hair, or on an irritated scalp. Before use, carefully read directions and warnings on back of can. As with all products, Neon Nits spray must be used in accordance with label instructions. SPRAY LIGHTLY!1. Hold 8' to 12' from dry hair. Direct short spray bursts close to scalp, especially at nape of neck, and along crown part line. AVOID OVERSPRAYING AND SATURATION..... Spray lightly, overspraying wastes Neon Nits and causes it to be harder to remove.2. Brush out after drying. Excess color will come off hair, but not eggs. Any color on skin can be washed off with soap and water.3. Check hair closely for colored head lice eggs.4. Remove remaining eggs with nit removal comb.5. After removing eggs, shampoo hair with normal hair shampoo to remove color residue.NOTE: AVOID USING OIL-BASED PRODUCTS SUCH AS MAYONNAISE, VASOLINE, CRUDE OIL, etc... If you do, you'll have a big gooey pink mess!
