What's in Pomé Serum?
Pomé Serum's main active ingredients are Organic Pomegranate Seed Oil which contains Punicic Acid (Omega-5) - a fatty acid that the skin absolutely loves and Argan Oil, from the Moroccan Argan tree, rich in Omega-6 and Vitamin E. It is infused with Macadamia Nut Oil & Sweet Almond Oil to ensure this Serum is the most powerful it can be.
Pomé Serum utilizes the powerful moisturizing properties of Pomegranate Seed Oil with its unique composition of fatty acids, mainly Punicic Acid to provide a rich, non-greasy treatment for skin and hair of all types. With the added benefits of Argan, Sweet Almond and Macadamia Nut Oils, Pomé Serum is also incredibly rich in gentle phytochemicals, Vitamins A, B, C and E. Punicic Acid (Omega -5)
Punicic Acid is a unique Omega-5 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid found in Pomegranate Seed Oil. It is one of the most potent anti-oxidants known to modern science (at least 6 times more potent than grape seed extract) and the only known botantical source of conjugated fatty acid. Punicic Acid (Omega-5) is effective in helping repair damaged cells. It's Conjugated molecular structure allows it to infuse easily into skin.
Pomegranate Seed Oil
The pomegranate is native to China, India, Egypt and regions of the Middle East. The pomegranate (Punica granatum) is a fruit-bearing deciduous shrub or small tree growing to between five and eight metres tall. Inside a pomegranate is about 700-800 tightly packed seed casings called arils that are deep red in color when nicely ripe. Pomegranate contains many phytochemicals with antioxidant action, such as ellagic acid. The pomegranate is a very delicious semi-seedy fruit that has refreshing, soothing qualities and contains hundreds of seeds that yield highly nourishing cosmeceutical oil.
Argan Oil
Argan Oil comes from the nuts of the argan tree (argania spinosa) which grows only in the South Western part of Morocco. Argan oil is rich in Vitamin E and linoleic acids (omega 6) which help keep skin and hair healthy and supple. It has a very light molecular weight so it is non-greasy and absorbs into the skin and hair very quickly, thus leaving little residue.
Argan Oil helps protect against damage caused by the environment, chemicals and heat appliances whilst reducing frizz, split ends and breakage.
