Hydralyte Sports is manufactured to pharmaceutical standards.It is available in 2 flavours (orange & lemon lime) and comes in a sachet that makes 600ml.Why is Hydralyte Sports different?Fluid and electrolyte replacement is best achieved by a solution that is low in carbohydrates (2-3%) and high in electrolytes. The ideal sodium concentration is in the range 45-60 mmol/L and potassium concentration at 10-20 mmol/L.Standard sports drinks may not adequately replace the large losses of sodium, potassium and chloride that can occur during heavy or prolonged exercise.
